ACTION 1: WELSH JUDO ASSOCIATION (WJA) LICENCE (**for Judo only**)
(to be purchased / renewed every year)
It’s important that both beginners and existing members have valid judo licences prior to participating in any judo session, and bring it with them to every judo session.
Beginners must have a WJA Introduction Licence, which is a free (non-renewable) judo licence for 3 months, prior to participating in any judo session. WJA Introduction Licences can be applied for online via the link below, or alternatively at the club - but we highly recommend new members applying online at home before turning up to the session to save time.
All existing members must ensure they have a valid judo licence prior to participating in any judo session.
A valid licence email confirmation from the Welsh Judo Association will be sufficient if the licence book has not yet arrived.
Judo Licences can be bought / renewed via the Welsh Judo Association website here:
https://welshjudo.com/my-judo/get-involved/
ACTION 2: HEALTH QUESTIONNAIRE
(to be completed only once, on the first ever session or first returning session)
You must complete and submit the health questionnaire (found below) prior to your first or returning session back.
It can be completed digitally or at the club.

ACTION 3: WHAT TO BRING
Judogi (Judo kits)
We encourage participants to turn up to the sessions ready clothed in their (white) judogi. Beginners can lend a judogi at the club.
Water Bottles
Participants are encouraged to bring their own water bottles if they'd like a drink during the break.
Judo Licence
Participants must bring their valid judo licence book to each session, or show a valid licence email confirmation from the Welsh Judo Association if they haven't yet received their licence book.
ACTION 4: COVID-19
We kindly ask if you or your child / children feel unwell, are Covid-19 positive or have been in close contact with a Covid-19 positive person, that you do not attend any sessions until you are better / Covid-19 negative.
This also applies to parents / guardians wishing to watch their children during the judo sessions.
We also encourage spectators to wear masks when inside the building and kindly ask spectators to be mindful that some people may wish to socially distance indoors and to be considerate and respectful of this.
Should anyone have any queries at all, please do not hesitate to contact us via Facebook, Instagram or via our email address:
